Lesson 2 – History
Join us for a history deep dive of Honolulu. Get to know all the major events and important people. Includes a creative family project to wrap up the lesson.
Lesson 3 – Culture Deep Dive
Hawaii is a melting pot of people and cultures. In this lesson, we explore the culture of the most racially and ethnically diverse state in the U.S. You’ll learn about what it’s like to live there, the music, unique habits and customs of locals, the effects of tourism, Hawaiian celebrations, and more. The lesson ends with a few exciting family activities to choose from.
Lesson 4 – Activities & Action
The cuisine of a place can reveal so much about its past, present, and future. Over time, people’s preferences, the mix of traditional recipes and new, trendy foods, and innovative products can all change a region’s cuisine. Includes plenty of recipes so you can eat like you live in Honolulu, and learn some things along the way. Also includes wrap up questions and other family activities.
